Unlike most licensed premises, the Drinks Lab has no public access, and is open for ticketed events only. Therefore, we're in a better position than many to offer a safe space for events. Read on for info on what we're doing to ensure we stay within guidelines.
Capacity & distancing
We're currently reducing capacity to 8 at present to ensure we have plenty of space to ensure safe distancing of 2m betweek workstations/households.
We're limiting classes to one a day to begin with, and when we run two there will be ample time in between to clean down and reset. Every surface will be disinfected before and after use, and all preparatory work will take place in our dedicated prep room to limit time spent in the tasting room.
As the Drinks Lab is part of the Summerhall complex, the wearing of face coverings is mandatory in shared areas. This includes the Summerhall reception and the corridor leading to the Drinks Lab. Should you forget yours there will be a limited number of disposable masks to wear.
Hand sanitising facilities are available in corridors in Summerhall, and bottles of hand sanitiser will be on each workstation for your use.
Whatever your needs, we're looking forward to hearing from you
