Around the World in 60 Rums – Grenada

Each month we’ll explore a different rum producing country, sampling five rums from as many distilleries and/or indie bottlers as we can to get as broad a representation from each country as possible. We’ll include as many different styles as possible to highlight different production methods, age statements, cask types, price points, and (dare we say it) terriors to really get a feel for each national style.

This month we’ll feature Grenada! An island known for being a living museum of rum, with ruins of old distilleries and plantations dotted around the five active rum producers, including an exciting new distillery Renegade, opened in 2020. We’ll try a mix of molasses and cane juice rum and find out what makes Grenada so unique!
