Around the World in 60 Rums – St Lucia

Each month we’ll explore a different rum producing country, sampling five rums from as many distilleries and/or indie bottlers as we can to get as broad a representation from each country as possible. We’ll include as many different styles as possible to highlight different production methods, age statements, cask types, price points, and (dare we say it) terriors to really get a feel for each national style.

This month we’ll feature St Lucia! Despite having only one distillery on the island, St Lucia Distillers produce a variety of products with a combination of column and pot stills. From the locals’ favourite Bounty, to the premium Chairman’s Reserve range, we’ll sample five great drams to give you a slice of St Lucia life.
