History of the Sesh – Mulled & Spiced Drinks

This month’s History of the Sesh cocktail masterclass will look at the history of mulled drinks and punch bowls, perfect to get you in the festive mood!

We’ll start with a welcome sample of a warm mulled white wine before you choose ingredients from our selection of herbs, fruits and spices to create your own bespoke mulled red wine blend that we’ll allow to infuse during the session. We’ll then take you on a journey through the history of punch bowls from the 17th century to modern day, starting with mixing up your own Barbados Rum Punch, and sampling two other cocktails while we chat ingredients, cultures, recipes and the social impact of the punch bowl. We’ll then finish with your custom mulled wine that’s been infusing away the whole time!

During the 1.5-2 hour session you’ll receive five drinks:

• 2 full sized cocktails or mulled wines
• 3 1/2 sized cocktail or mulled wine samples

We’ll sample both red and white mulled wines as well as some gin, rum and whisky punches. If you have any requirements then please let us know in advance!
