This month’s History of the Sesh will look at the period between 1920-1933, when the American government brought in the Volstead Act, otherwise known as Prohibition, which overnight caused a dramatic shift in the drinking culture of the USA and the world, which we’re still seeing today. We’ll start with a welcome sample of a classic Prohibition-era cocktail before you shake or stir your own full-sized drink. We’ll then take you on a journey through the time period sampling another two drinks while we explore what caused such a monumental shift in legislature, how drinkers skirted the laws, and the lasting legacy of Prohibition in modern cocktail culture, from the drinks we remember to the rise of speakeasy style bars. During the 1.5-2 hour session you’ll receive five drinks:

- 3 1/2 sized cocktail samples
