History of the Sesh – Golden Age of Mocktails
January 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
£22.50 – £26.50
This month’s History of the Sesh will look at the history of no and low alcoholic drinks, from the Shirley Temples of the 1930s to the non-alcoholic Negroni Sbagliatos of the modern day, we’ve come a long way in taking lower ABV drinks more seriously.
We’ll start with a classic no or low cocktail before you stir or shake a full sized drink. We’ll then cover the history behind temperance movements, drinks from around the world, and the modern shift towards quality ingredients while you sample another two libations, before finishing off by creating your final cocktail. While this is ideal for those following Dry January, just like any good speakeasy there’ll be some of the good stuff under the bar for those not partaking. Tickets are available for non-alcoholic, low-ABV, or full strengh cocktails.
During the 1.5-2 hour session you’ll receive five drinks:
- 2 full sized cocktails
- 3 1/2 sized cocktail samples
