Gin & Champagne

Join us for an evening of decadent gin tasting in the Drinks Lab where we feast on two of our favourite things – Gin and Champagne!
We’ll start off with a classic cocktail combining the two, the French 75, and talk you through the history of Champagne, how it’s made, and some of the science behind the bubbles and the glassware we use. We’ll then sample three delicious gins from around Scotland paired with some tasty mixers, before ending with a glass of delicious Blanc de Blanc Champagne.

Join the fun on the our 5* rated Gin Cruise experience! Sample five gins on the two hour gin tasting along the Union Canal in Edinburgh, starting and ending at Fountainbridge.
Each month we’ll have a different line up of stellar Scottish gins to try neat, and as part of a mixed drink or cocktail created by our expert mixologists.
Our knowledgeable and experienced hosts will keep you entertained and sufficiently watered while they teach you all about the gins you’re sampling.
Canapes from a local caterer Xanders are also available as an optional extra.

Let us take you on a tour of Scotland through six delicious gins!
We’ll sample gins from the length and breadth of the country – from the Solway Firth to the Shetland Islands, from North Berwick to North Uist.
We’ll start with a welcome G&T then guide you through the tasting of six different gins, teaching you about the botanicals, production and history of each.
You’ll also have a selection of mixers to choose from to pair with the gins to make your own perfect serves.

A G&T is only as good as the mixer, and it can be a challenge to find one you like. So why not make your own!
Join us in the Lab where we’ll take you through a mixer creation session for you to whip up your own bespoke soda to pair with your favourite gin. You’ll get a G&T on arrival and a tasting of three different gins to give you some inspiration for your creation. Then you’ll get ten different flavours to pick from and experiment with various combinations, before settling on your final product.
You’ll then carbonate, fill, seal and label your cans to take home, while sipping on your bespoke soda with your choice of gin.
