RUM & DOUGHNUTS
Indulge your sweet tooth for our most popular rum tasting! Join us at the Drinks Lab for tasty rum from Scotland and the rest of the world, paired with delicious plant-based doughnuts from our friends at Considerit Chocolate.
You’ll start by shaking up a tasty rum cocktail, and over the course of an hour we’ll talk you through each of our delicious rum and doughnut pairings, teach you the interesting, complex and often controversial history of rum, and Scotland’s role in it’s global trade.

We are constantly changing our rum selection we use, so even if you come along to multiple dates the chances are you’ll try something new!
We have a strong preference for unsweetened and unflavoured rums, however you may find the odd spiced rum thrown in there.

All of our doughnuts are from our neighbours Considerit Chocolate, and are dairy-free and vegan friendly.
Flavours change on a weekly basis and we either select from their menu or we will work with Considerit to create custom flavours that will compliment the flavours of the rum.
While we will offer a suggested order of pairing each rum and doughnut, we also love to experiment! We encourage you to try each of the rums with each of the doughnuts to find your perfect pairings.
